El famoso y reconocido artista del Rock nacional Javier Calamaro es un gran amante de la Gastronomía. Tiene un programa de televisión «La Cocina de los Calamaro», que se transmite por el canal El Nueve los domingos al mediodía. Su acercamiento al mundo del aceite de oliva fue con la empresa LAUR, reconocida Olivícola Nacional, quienes serán los encargados de producir para el artista un AOVE que lleva su nombre. El Aceite de Oliva es un blend de Arauco y Arbequina, con olivas originarias de la localidad mendocina de Lavalle. Esta interesante propuesta también contempla un Aceto Balsámico realizado con uvas del varietal Ugni Blanc y el cual sufrió un añejamiento de un año. Los productos se consiguen ya en varias vinotecas de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y a través de Mercado Libre. El mercado a donde dirigen su estrategia es hacia los consumidores de AOVE premium donde la oferta de Aceites de Oliva de Calidad y tematizados viene creciendo sostenidamente. Nota de Cata del AOVE: Se percibe entrada dulce, que se torna fluida en la boca, impregnándola uniformemente y permitiendo descubrir un intenso sabor a manzana, que luego se torna en frutos secos (almendra y nuez).
